I am Ingrid Dayana Gonzalez Ochoa. Do you think why two names and two last names? Well, It is because I am Latinoamericana. I was born in Colombia, Bogotá, the capital city, but I wouldn’t say I like cold weather even though in Bogotá there is almost always cold weather (11 C/ 46 F).
I finished my bachelor’s degree at a private university in Bogotá, Universidad de La Salle, in foreign language teaching (Spanish as ELE, English, and French). I arrived in the United States in 2020 in New Mexico for the second time in my life, but this time to stay for my studies for my Master’s degree in Spanish Linguistics, where I graduated with honors (GPA) in 2022. At this moment, I am starting my Ph.D. at Arizona University with big expectations and finding new professional and personal opportunities to grow as a human and as a teacher.
